Kibbuse Children

Kibbuse Foundation is a Ugandan village health care and education project which Ian & Rachel have strong links with - Kibbuse means 'something has started to Grow' in Lunyoro, a tribal language in Uganda. The Kibbuse Foundation was founded in the village of Nyamarwa in Kibale district to the West of Uganda. Nyamarwa is 25 miles from the nearest town. The town of Mubende can however take upto 3 hours to get to, due to the mud track, which leads to the village.

Nyamarwa is the service village for the communities around it and yet Nyamarwa has no shops, no electricity and no telephone communication. This is not actually a problem, however, Nyamarwa has no running water, very poor schooling, and numerous health problems.
